I have been wondering for quite some time now about the use of theoretical learning we get in the schools and colleges. Are they sufficient enough to face the real world? I don't think so. What are your thoughts?
We talk a lot about mental stress being faced by children and adults for that matter. How can we move from stress to happiness? Any answers or suggestions. Let me know.
To answer the question: how do we help move children from stress to happiness, my first thought is to get them involved in things. For example, sports, band, chess club, anything that will help them find common interests with other students and help them to get out there to make friends. Also, I find being outside to be one of the largest factors in helping to reduce stress. Along with that, limiting your child's screen time is especially important! As far as adults, something that has moved me from stress to happiness is leaning on faith, only keeping a small circle of friends close who genuinely want the best for each other, and something I have especially loved is learning all about manifestation. @Kanika Sharma I believe children should be exposed to outdoor activities and games. This itself will provide a ground for them to role play.
@Kanika Sharma Role plays could be a good option. It could be made more interesting if real life situations in the form of case studies be given to the children to act. For eg- how to handle a situation or act in a situation if the child has not prepared himself for the annual examinations. What he ought to do in that given situation? Role plays can help a lot here.
