I got the idea of writing this post by reading the article on confidence posted by @Bill Abbate today.
It is about the limit of my satisfaction which I enjoyed a few years ago.
The story goes like this. My boss, my junior colleague and I lost our jobs almost at the same time.
Fortunately, I got a job in a couple of days of leaving the last job.
This new firm was into providing motivation lectures and teaching techniques of selling to the Corporate employees.
As I was interviewed by the CEO himself so it gave me an easy access to reach out to him directly, once I joined there.
I dropped into his office and requested him to interview my ex-boss and junior colleague as there were suitable vacancies for them.
Convincing the CEO for junior colleague's interview was much easier than the ex- boss's.
Nevertheless, I spoke so good and mentioned the genuine capabilities of my ex-boss that CEO agreed for interviewing both of them.
In a weeks time, I was again working with my ex-boss and junior colleague in my new organization.
The sense of satisfaction I got after this episode was truly unbelievable and I can not express my happiness by writing it here.
Thanks to the CEO and I got blessings from both of them as well.
Do you have any such experiences to share?
Good friendship and you are a good soul @Nick Kirkpatrick
