A short success story you would like to read that is based on my recent experience.
I decided to factory reset my Windows 10 HP laptop as it was running slow. I am not very good in updating laptop software but I thought doing it. I backed up all my data in the portable hard disk.
I started the process of resetting my PC and it was going good but after two and half hours it got stuck at 64% and the status was same for next six hours. It was showing 64% only.
I referred a few YouTube videos. One video suggested to wait for hours and days which I did not think right. Another video suggested to shut down the machine.
I shut down the machine keeping my fingers crossed. The laptop started but showed a blank screen.
Now, I was completely stuck as I had no other option but to visit the authorized HP service center nearby.
I was cursing myself why did I even think of resetting my PC.
My daughter's class will get affected. My office work will be badly affected if my laptop did not start working immediately. I did not have a second laptop.
I referred one more video in which the YouTuber asked me to switch on and switch off the laptop for 2-3 times continuously. I thought to try it but was skeptical that I may destroy the hardware too. I will have to face more problems in that situation.
But I took the big risk and suddenly to my surprise the laptop showed me the screen which said,
"Loading and starting your Windows 10."
Oh, Thank God. I took a deep breath and felt that I have achieved the unachievable. It took me another three hours to complete the laptop set-up.
Now, the machine is up and running great.
I would like to thank God and the YouTubers of course, without them it wouldn't be possible. I also thank my presence of mind at that time that made me to complete the task successfully.
I did not lose hope and that is the whole point.
Hope you enjoyed reading the story.
